Our plaques are heavy-weight cherry finish veneer with accenting black beveled edge.
Choose Gold, Silver, or Bronze plates. The artwork of the sailplan and text is permanently printed
in black on the specially coated aluminum plates by heat transfer sublimation process.

We then glue the plate to the plaque with clear silicone glue. Silicone glue gives dependable
flexible adhesion and is far superior to double sided tape.

HORIZONTAL SAILPLAN PLAQUE ORIENTATION

Our standard sailplan plaque is
vertical. However, upon your specific instructions, we can format your plaques HORIZONTAL.

Horizontal layout is attractive when there is an important long line of text
that can not be split into two or
three lines. The sailplan must be
smaller in the horizontal format.
These examples show how we can arrange the text.

ADD A SPECIAL ACCENT - YOUR BURGEE OR LOGO

This feature requires an extra production step but adds much pizzazz. By taking advantage
of the open area at the top of the plaque the sailplan is still full size.

Logos can be highly detailed, we print them in black.

Burgees can be printed in black or color. Burgees in color look best on gold or silver plates. We already have many club's burgees prepared for color printing. Color prepping a new burgee normally involves incidental time and cost.

SOLID WALNUT SAILPLAN PLAQUES

Some customers want solid walnut plaques as a premium option to our standard cherry finish veneer plaques. The printed metal plates are identical,
only the solid walnut plaque is different.
